Noaa honors attorney program
Just curious if this cutoff is taken seriously. I applied in late August and was "referred for further consideration" but want to check if I should give up hope.
So I have no idea what your shot actually is, but you almost certainly haven't been ruled out yet. Fedgov just doesn't schedule interviews until after all the apps are in.
They ended up emailing me for an interview! It was about a month from application to interview selection. I received an email on September 23 stating my app was under review by HR. The only other info I have is that second-round interviews are at the end of October.
CFP still says "Application Received. Reached out to interviewer who told me decision on second round interviews should be done by mid October.
They told me I would hear back in 3 weeks regarding final round interviews. Bringing administrative enforcement actions to ensure compliance with the federal fishery laws and to protect marine species, such as whales, dolphins and turtles, and their habitat. Addressing complex international legal issues related to oceans, shipping, fisheries, marine pollution, aquatic invasive species, and marine scientific research.
Working with NOAA scientists to address threats to coastal areas such as climate change, population growth, port congestion, and contaminants in the environment Addressing the legal needs of the National Weather Service, and the NOAA satellite programs that provide environmental data to support it.
